Starting kindergarten or school in Bulgaria can be overwhelming for your young child or teenager. Our Bulgarian language courses for children and teenagers provide a smooth transition to the new environment, equipping the young learners with the necessary knowledge, understanding, enthusiasm and confidence to adapt in Bulgaria.

At Edno School we have had the pleasure to work with children aged 4-12 in both individual and group formats. The main difference between working with children and adult learners is that children rarely need a contact language. For them, learning comes naturally and stress-free. In our Bulgarian language classes, we use their inborn curiosity and openness to engage them in all sorts of activities. The constant usage of Bulgarian (for all class activities and stages and outside the classroom) prepares your child for the constant exposure to the language in kindergarten or school.

We have had the pleasure to tutor and teach teenagers aged 13-17. Some of them have attended adult group classes with one or both of their parents. We have had teen groups and individual lessons – focusing on both general Bulgarian and school preparation.
When working with teenagers who are learning Bulgarian as a foreign language, we try to use their interests as much as possible. We incorporate a lot of project work, presentations, games, learning apps, help with school preparation and anything that can motivate our young learners.

Some tailor-made Bulgarian language courses for teens can provide help with school assignments and school subjects by explaining any challenging language and learning about the topics at an appropriate language level.
